ready, set, craft

Dearest Karen, Becca, Amy, & Jenny,

Happy March! Here’s to a new month of living creatively and crafting frequently. First off, apologies--I ended up mailing your packages without enclosing a letter, due to a few printer issues. Although my posts throughout this month will have more in depth instructions and inspiration, here’s the quick DL (down-low) on what’s in store:

You each received a mini card kit for Spring. I know, how could I be so lucky to land the month of Easter, a new season, and all things pastel? Believe it or not, I tried so hard to put this together without pink. Somehow it managed to rear its pretty face anyway as my assembly night dragged on. Phew! Becca’s right, it’s a little harder than you think to pull one of these together, but definitely fun anyway.

Contents:
· 4 yellow cards
· 4 yellow envelopes
· 3 scraps of patterned paper
· 4 polka-dotted ribbons
· Lavendar embroidery floss
· Pink+brown baker’s twine
· 4-5 buttons
· Foam blossom stamp
· Egg die cuts
· Chipboard tag
· Extra chipboard to keep papers from warping and for your own imagination

Your job is to design 4 lovely cards. One of which you’ll send to a girl from the group:
Becca-->Amy
Amy-->Jess
Jess-->Jenny
Jenny-->Karen
Karen-->Becca

The other 3 you can send to whomever you wish! March is a big month this year, so you can feel free to make cards for Easter, St. Patty’s, Birthdays, Thanks, blah, blah, blah.
The rules:
· *Send 1 to your assigned CJ buddy.
· *It must have a Spring theme
· *Try to use most of the supplies provided, but don’t sweat it if you can’t pull everything together.
· *You must post pictures of your beautiful results!

Craft on, girls!
Love,
Jess P.S. Get Cracking on those Altoids, girls. Share them with your friends and get your tin emptied by March 15th. There’s a bonus challenge in store!
